Four Silver Medals and Best Buy Awards for Golden Kaan
April 2009
Golden Kaan wines have again been awarded for their quality and their outstanding value for money ratio. In April, four wines out of the classic range portfolio (Merlot, Pinotage, Pinotage Rosé, Sauvignon Blanc) received silver medals from the US Beverage Testing Institute and were additionally recommended “Best Buy”.
This is the most recent in a succession of accolades for the Golden Kaan brand. In March, Golden Kaan was awarded Best Buy in the influential US Magazine “Wine Enthusiast.”
High quality wine at an affordable price is exactly what today’s consumers are looking for. In meeting this customer requirement, Golden Kaan and South African wines in general are garnering much attention in many countries worldwide. Within five years after its launch, the Golden Kaan range has consistently leveraged its potential, seized market opportunities, and penetrated new markets. The continued expansion of international distribution activities remains a strategic focus in 2009.
